CAMPER EXPECTATIONS

Expectations For Camper Behavior

  • Follow all instructions of camp staff. Immediately consult your camp coach if you are uncertain about any of their instructions.
  • Label all personal belongings, especially equipment. Mendoza Volleyball Camps LLC and the University of South Carolina may not be held responsible for any lost or stolen items.
  • Notify camp personnel as soon as any problems arise, whether big or small.

Expectations For Camper Behavior (Overnight Campers)

  • Follow the camp schedule and report on time for all sessions.
  • Participate in all camp activities, including camp meals.  Only the camp director may grant permission to be excused. If you need medical attention, please consult the athletic trainer. Attendance will be taken at each session.
  • Keep coaches notified of your whereabouts at all times.

  • Campers should keep track of their own key and never loan it to another camper for any reason. 
  • When leaving their room campers should take the extra precaution of checking their door. Mendoza Volleyball Camps LLC and the University of South Carolina may not be held responsible for any lost or stolen items. If there is a suspicion of theft, campers should contact the camp director immediately.
  • Campers should not leave the gym or dorm without a member of the camp staff. If a camper leaves the dorm for any reason, they will be immediately dismissed from camp. Visitors are strictly prohibited from entering a dorm room. Campers are expected to be in their own room at the time designated as “LIGHTS OUT”.

Behaviors Not Permitted

  • The use of profanity or inappropriate language, written or verbal.
  • Leaving the camp area as designated by the camp director. Campers are not permitted to freely walk around campus or any surrounding areas
  • Inappropriate use of cell phone or cell phone camera during camp.
  • Damaging or stealing University or other camper’s property.
  • Harassment, bullying, or intimidating other campers
  • The use of a vehicle.
